OPPORTUNITIES
Every
little bit counts here at Operation Shoestring. Our neighborhood
counts on us, and we in turn depend on our community for
support. We can always find a way to put your time and
talents to use, including:
- Providing breakfast for summer camp kids (a great group
project)
- Providing food for Saturday parent workshops
-
Leading life-skills workshops (shopping on a shoestring,
budgeting, debt management, stress management, health
issues for women and their children etc.) - Tutoring children
in Project KIDS after-school/summer program
- Food pantry (food drives, picking up food, preparing
and distributing food boxes)
-
Helping maintain our garden and playground
And,
of course, tax-deductible donations are always welcome.
Your contributions don't just pay for supplies or programs.
