Two participants in Operation Shoestring’s Project KIDS summer program were tapped to appear in a commercial for the Viking Classic Golf Tournament which benefits the Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children. Jonas James and Justus Gooch traveled to Annandale Golf Club in Madison for the June 25 & 26 filming. Parents and crew looked on with kind-hearted envy as the children pranced though the sprinklers for hours. Special thanks go to Michelle Hill and Bob Potesky of the Ramey Agency for arranging Shoestring’s involvement. Ramey CEO Chris Ray sits on Shoestring’s Board of Directors.
